TDI Intro to Tech

Service Description

The TDI Intro to Tech is a foundational course for experienced recreational divers who want to take their first step into technical diving. It builds on core diving skills with a stronger focus on planning, equipment, buoyancy, situational awareness and often uses a twinset setup. The course is designed to improve overall diving efficiency and confidence while introducing the mindset and techniques used in technical diving. It also provides an excellent pathway towards more advanced certifications such as the TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, while remaining a valuable stand alone course for those who simply want to sharpen their skills. What you'll learn: - Exposure to more detailed dive planning - Introduction to technical diving and procedures - Improved buoyancy, trim and balance - Stronger gas management and situational awareness - Better overall control, confidence and diving proficiency Minimum requirements: - SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification (or equivalent from a recognised organisation). - Proof of 25 logged open water dives. Minimum age: 18 (15 with parental consent). Course includes 3 open water dives.
