SDI Deep Diver

Service Description

The SDI Deep Diver course is designed for certified divers who want to expand their depth range and develop the knowledge and skills needed for deeper recreational diving. It provides a structured introduction to planning and executing dives beyond the standard open water limits, with an emphesis on safety, awareness and control. What you'll learn: - Planning deep dives - Managing gas supply - Recognising and responding to the effects of narcosis - Equipment and emergency procedures needed for deep diving. The course also builds confidence in buoyancy, descent, ascent, and dive planning at depth. Who it's for: Certified open water divers who want to progress into deeper diving and improve their knowledge and skills. Minimum requirements: SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification (or equivalent from a recognised organisation). Minimum age: 18 Course includes 2 open water dives, at a depth of up to 40 meters/130 feet. This course is a practical next step for divers who want to explore deeper sites with greater understanding and confidence.
